Free travel in the VRR area

You can travel for free throughout the VRR area in the evenings from 7 p.m., all day on weekends and on public holidays.

Accompanying travellers

In the evenings from 7 p.m., all day on weekends and public holidays, as well as on the 24th and 31st of December, you can take one adult and up to three children under 15 with you – even in the extended zone of validity.

Mobility guarantee

If the bus or train is delayed for more than 20 minutes, we will reimburse you for the cost of the taxi (up to 60 euros) as part of the mobility guarantee.

Cancellable at any time

The Ticket2000 season ticket can be cancelled at any time to the end of the month. If you cancel before the first 12 months, we will charge a flat fee of 20 euros. After the first 12 months, there will be no further charges and the season ticket validity will be extended by one more month unless we receive a notice of cancellation by the last day of the ongoing month.

ZusatzTicket

With a ZusatzTicket, you can extend the benefits of your Ticket2000, such as using first class on regional rail services within the VRR area or upgrading from the selected fare category. Please note that you need one ZusatzTicket per person and for every additional benefit per trip.

Optionally transferable

In addition to the ticket holder, other people may also use the ticket. Ideal for families: Whoever needs it, carries it!

Free bicycle transport

Take your bike with you free of charge in the zone covered by your Ticket2000.

Bikes for hire from nextbike (only for season ticket holders)

You will get 30 minutes on a nextbike for free within Düsseldorf per trip.

You can get the Ticket2000 as a monthly pass or as a low-cost season ticket, alternatively with validity from 9 a.m. as an even cheaper option. You can decide which option suits your needs best.
